Purple Flower


Watercolour painting  5″x 3.5″ These were some interesting flowers I found outside my house. I haven’t painted flowers for a while now. I don’t think I will get back into it even though I do like the organic shape of the leaves.

This is a drypoint etching on plexiglass, which I printed in class today.  I really enjoy printing stuff when everything is working well. Well, it isn’t perfect, but I’m done working on it.  I’m finished painting these flowers for a while now.

Here is my progression so far.  I switched to acrylic paint for the last three squares because if I used oils, they would not dry in time for monday.  I tried to match the styles, but you can still tell which is which in person. I have also caught up to the flowers. I couldn’t […]
