Rough Frame for a Rough Painting

Grinder with frame

Frame Detail

It’s amazing how much even the roughest framing job can do for any painting. This frame is just a bunch of small sticks nailed on the side of the board that I painted on. It is very crude, but I feel it suits the painting enough to look acceptable.  I challenge anyone to frame an oil painting half an hour after they finish painting it. It’s tough believe me. I have the blue marks on my hands to prove it.
